Job description

Overview

We are seeking an enthusiastic and bright individual to join the private patient referrals team in a busy, friendly, multi-disciplinary environment, and to support us in the delivery of a quality service throughout our hospital. The postholder will report to the Referrals Team Leader and will be responsible for facilitating and coordinating new patient enquiries to ULCH Private Healthcare, while adhering to the highest standards of customer service. The postholder is expected to work fully onsite. The role is based at 7 Queen Square.

Responsibilities
  • Facilitate and coordinate new patient enquiries to ULCH Private Healthcare.
  • Adhere to the highest standards of customer service.
  • Act as a point of contact for the Private Healthcare Division at UCLH, ensuring all enquiries are answered professionally and efficiently.
  • Promote and market the private service to patients and consultants; act as a positive ambassador for the service.
  • Ensure the patient journey is seamless by coordinating with clinical and non-clinical teams across the trust and liaising with external stakeholders.
  • Maintain onsite presence and collaboration within a busy, multi-disciplinary environment.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Significant experience in providing excellent customer service to patients with a professional, can-do attitude.
  • High level of attention to detail and ability to work autonomously and proactively.
  • Excellent IT skills, particularly Microsoft Office, with the ability to communicate professionally with a wide range of people.
  • Working knowledge of healthcare data and terminology.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills with the ability to negotiate and liaise effectively within clinical and non-clinical teams across the trust.
  • Commitment to ensuring a seamless patient journey and to representing the Private Healthcare Division positively.
