A leading further education institution in Barrow-in-Furness is seeking a Recruitment and Development Coach. The role involves recruiting and supporting apprentices, conducting workplace visits, and ensuring they achieve their qualifications. Ideal candidates should have at least a Level 3 qualification and experience in engaging with local employers. This role offers a supportive work environment with a focus on continuous professional development.

Recruitment and Development Coach
Recruitment and Development Coaches work across the organisation, recruiting and supporting apprentices within each of our curriculum areas. The role of the Coach is to build up relationships with Employers, and recruit Apprentices to respond to their recruitment needs. Throughout the duration of the Apprenticeship, Coaches will carry out review meetings with the employer and apprentice, supporting them through the apprenticeship, which includes the setting and assessment of work, and liaising with curriculum staff within the college to ensure that are on target with their studies.
Coaches are responsible for recruiting and supporting a caseload of learners. You will carry out work place visits, set SMART targets for the achievement of qualifications, monitor progress and much more. In order to meet the needs of the local businesses our client expects Coaches to be actively involved in engaging with and supporting employers in the Furness area; helping them to grow and develop their workforce. The successful candidate will hold a minimum of a Level 3 qualification to support our apprentices in Accounting to successfully complete all elements of their programme.
Hours:37 hours per week
