Job description

Do you thrive working in a busy administrative environment, collaborating closely with your team? London Business School are excited to be recruiting for a collaborative Recruitment and Admissions Associate to join Degree Education on a fixed-term basis until October 2026. The Recruitment and Admissions Associate will be responsible for nurturing a strong pipeline of suitable prospective students for the Graduate Masters Programmes, specifically the Masters in Management and Global Masters in Management (MiM and GMiM). You will also be on hand to provide operational support to Admissions colleagues as needed, acting as a point of contact for applicants and offer holders. You will be required to develop relationships with prospective students in order to recruit and convert the highest quality applicants from their pipelines, and develop relationships with stakeholders where appropriate, across the department and other areas of the School. Please note, this role requires ad hoc on-campus event support including occasional evening and weekend work. This is a fixed-term contract until October 2026.

Main Responsibilities
  • Deliver various recruitment activities, such as live events, hosting small‑group meet ups, individual conversations and writing blogs.
  • Manage a busy email inbox for the programmes, answering inquiries appropriately and building relationships with prospective students.
  • Represent London Business School virtually, on campus and in London, through events, networking opportunities, one‑to‑one meetings and similar activities.
  • Communicate the value of the MiM and GMiM programmes and on occasions the rest of our programme portfolio to individuals, understanding candidate needs and navigating them through our offering and admissions processes; excellent customer service skills.
  • Experience working in a customer facing environment.
  • Proven track record of delivering against KPIs/metrics.
  • Good communication skills with the ability to address a variety of stakeholders.
  • Proactive approach to relationship development with colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and time management skills with the ability to organise and prioritise.
  • Good team working skills with the ability to collaborate effectively.

Smart Working and Core Hours

At London Business School, we support Smart Working – a hybrid approach designed to help you achieve a healthy work‑life balance while delivering the best outcomes for your role and the needs of our customers. All roles require a minimum of two days on campus each week. For this role specifically, you will be expected to be on campus at least twice per week. We operate with ‘core hours’ – 10:00–15:00 – to maximise opportunities for connection and collaboration across teams during the working day. Outside of these hours, you may still be required for meetings or collaboration based on your role and customer needs. Additionally, we offer Protected Time – a flexible, one‑hour slot within the working week dedicated to your learning and development, wellbeing, or focused, quiet work.
