A leading healthcare provider in London is seeking experienced nurses for a role in maternity recovery and theatre at Queen Charlotte's Hospital. In this position, you will provide expert care to women and babies post-surgery, support theatre activities, and be involved in all aspects of patient care. The ideal candidate will have experience in theatre or recovery and will demonstrate strong communication and clinical skills.

Qualifications

Job description

This is a great opportunity for nurses who would like to work within the maternity recovery and theatre setting at Queen Charlotte's Hospital.

The role entails providing care to women and babies in the maternity recovery area following surgical procedures.

The role would also include supporting with theatre activity and the potential to develop role within operating theatre as theatre scrub practitioner. The post holder will assess care needs and develop, implement and evaluate programs of care for individual women/birthing people.

They will be involved in the preparation of theatre equipment and instrument and responsible for maintaining asepsis intraoperative and compliance with WHO safety procedures.

Main duties of the job

To provide high standards of skilled care and support in both perioperative and post-operative areas of the maternity service.

You will work collaboratively with all members of the theatre, maternity and multidisciplinary team to ensure a safe and effective service is provided

The role involves carrying out post-operative care in the maternity recovery area involves and participating as a scrubbed or circulating member of the team with in theatre.
