Overview

Position

We are in need of a proactive Recovery Support Team Leader whose dynamic qualities will be key to strengthening engagement and ensuring service users actively shape our Tower Hamlets services. Collaborating closely with leadership staff and service users, you will be supporting the service to achieve the best standard of care as well as helping us to increase accessibility to services and support as many people in their recovery journeys as possible.

Salary & Allowance

Full Time Salary Range: £35,220.59 – £37,184.91 (dependent on experience; pro‑rated for part time)

Inner London Weighting: £4,133.14

Responsibilities
About the role
  • Empowering staff to promote hope, empowerment, choices, control and opportunities that assist service users in reaching their full potential as individuals and community members.
  • Ensuring that CGLs values are at the heart of everything we do through values‑based decision making and leadership, creating a values‑based culture.
  • Managing the rota of staff, working with other managers to ensure all elements of the service are covered appropriately; participating in management on‑call duty / rota.
  • Ensuring quality of service delivery through data analysis and engaging staff in service quality improvement planning; where necessary creating team and individual performance plans to improve quality and performance.
  • Working with your team and Designated Safeguarding Lead (if not your role) to ensure that the practices within the team/service enable identification of service users, children and families who are at risk; ensuring that staff are competent in the delivery of interventions that reduce risk to service users.
  • Planning, chairing and contributing to team meetings that promote learning cultures, cascade information and provide feedback mechanisms for staff on service delivery/developments.
  • Utilising Skill‑Station (CGLs learning and development platform) to identify the learning and development needs of your team and engaging staff in face‑to‑face and eLearning as appropriate.
About you
  • Experienced in recruiting, training and managing staff
  • Aware of the challenges faced by the people using our services
  • Experienced in delivering learning and training to others
  • Accomplished written and verbal skills and a high degree of IT competency
  • Capable, committed and influential leader
  • Experience of promoting the voice of service users
  • Excellent time management
  • Excellent team working, communication and interpersonal skills
  • Empathetic and non‑judgemental approach
  • Ideally you will possess a level 3 qualification in assessing learner work and project management and/or team leader experience
