Receptionist / Administrator - Secondary School (Barking & Dagenham)

Start: As Soon As Possible
Hours: 8:30am - 4:30pm

We are seeking an experienced School Receptionist/Administrator to join a thriving, Ofsted-rated Good secondary school in the heart of Lambeth. This is an excellent opportunity for a professional who is confident, organised, and passionate about supporting a busy school community.

Please note: Only candidates with previous experience working in a school-based reception or administrative role will be considered.

Key Responsibilities
  • Welcoming students, staff, parents, and visitors as the first point of contact
  • Managing incoming calls, enquiries, and email communications
  • Providing administrative support to the school office and leadership team
  • Maintaining accurate records using SIMS (School Information Management System)
  • Supporting attendance processes and student data management
  • Ensuring safeguarding and visitor procedures are followed at all times
