Overview

Responsibilities
  • Provide an exceptional patient journey both in person and on the phone; be the first point of contact; welcome patients and ensure they have a great experience.
  • Work with the team to manage the diary and maximise appointment capacity.
  • Understand the full range of NHS and Private treatment options available within the practice.
  • Complete relevant forms for NHS and private schemes within the specified timescales.
  • Take payments and chase outstanding patient debt.
  • Liaise with dental laboratories, supply companies and other organisations.
Key Skills and Experience
  • Ability to easily build rapport and deliver high-level customer service.
  • Passionate about building knowledge of treatment options within the dental sector; become an expert on what the practice offers.
  • Driven to contribute to the success of the practice by seizing opportunities.
  • Follow processes and work in a structured and organised way.
  • Comfortable working to practice KPIs (call answer rate, data capture, rebooking).
