Job summary

A leading construction and property firm in the UK is looking for a full-time Receptionist to perform various front-of-house duties, support health and safety tasks, and assist employees and contractors. Candidates must be eligible to work in the UK. This role involves working Tuesday through Thursday, from 08:00 to 16:30, at a location in London.

Job Title: Receptionist

Salary: £14 per hour

Schedule: Full-time, Tuesday - Thursday 08:00 - 16:30

Location: London

Responsibilities
  • Perform ad hoc front-of-house duties, including welcoming guests, issuing passes, and assisting with visitor management and events.
  • Support employees and contractors with general FM queries, assist with allocating Soft Services workplace work orders in Spacewell, and complete CAWS (Control of Work System) approvals for all tasks.
  • Conduct meeting room checks, act as the Point of Contact (POC) for Security, and oversee the FM site shared calendar.
  • Support health and safety tasks, including regular site walks, maintaining systems (e.g., DSE records, X matters, distribution lists), new starter onboarding, and site inductions.
  • Support with fire drills, evacuation procedures, and incident reporting.
