Job summary

An educational supply agency is seeking a dedicated Reception Teacher for a 2-form primary school in Leeds. The ideal candidate should be enthusiastic and flexible, holding QTS and having prior experience with the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum. Responsibilities include lesson planning, creating a safe learning environment, and assessing student progress. This role is full-time starting on 5th January and is provisionally until Easter 2026. Qualifications

Reception Teacher

2-form Primary School in Leeds (LS18)

Vision for Education is seeking an outstanding practitioner to teach Reception at a wonderful 2-form primary school in Leeds (LS18). The school is looking for a Reception Teacher who is enthusiastic, positive, hard‑working, flexible and a conscientious person. The successful applicant will have ideally passed their ECT induction and have experience of teaching in a reception class. The role is due to begin on 5th Jan on a full‑time basis provisionally until Easter 2026.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and deliver engaging, creative, and effective lessons aligned with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum.
  • Create and maintain a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment where all children can thrive.
  • Assess, track, and evaluate student progress, providing timely feedback and personalised support to promote individual development.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and carers to support the holistic growth and well‑being of every child.
  • Contribute to school life by participating in events, meetings, and ongoing professional development activities.
