• Reach Truck Drivers Required

• £14.38 per hour + £55 per week shift premium on nights
• Temp to Perm, Immediate Start

CTRG: Mansfield Hub are working in partnership with our long-standing client, the worlds leading provider of temperature controlled logistics, to recruit for a number of Reach Truck Drivers to work from their purpose built facility in Bilsthorpe, near Newark.

These roles are working in both an ambiement and a temperature controlled environment where temperatures can reach -20° C, however full PPE is provided and the Reach Truck cabs are fully heated.

These roles are an immediate start and are temp to perm opportunities for the right candidate, subject to performance, attendance and conduct.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

• Operating a heated Reach Truck within frozen storage areas with temperatures reaching -20° C
• Stacking and unstacking pallets on mobile racking with maximum working heights of 14m / 45'
• Working as part of a team to ensure the flow of customers' products in and out of the supply chain
• Other duties may include some picking of stock that requires assembling pallets of multiple products
• Completing all relevant paperwork and documentation
• Adhering to the Health & Safety Legislation, ensuring highest level of tidiness and cleanliness.

Skills and qualities we're looking for

• Previous experience in a Reach Truck Operator role is essential
• An in-date Reach Truck licence would be preferred though not essential as full re-training is provided
• Able to work as part of a team as well as use own initiative
• Previous experience working in a cold storage environment would be advantageous but not essential
• Hardworking and reliable

Shifts Available

We are currently recruiting for roles on the following shifts:

• 4 on 4 off, 6pm - 6am

All roles are an immediate start and we require people to commit to the shift pattern they choose.

Pay Rate

All roles offer a basic pay rate of £14.38 per hour, with the night shift role attracting an additional shift premium of £55 per week.

Overtime is paid at £21.57 per hour.
