Job description

Applications are invited for the post of Radiology Research Fellow h based in the Department of Radiology. The Drug Development Unit, a designated Experimental Cancer Medicine Centre, is widely regarded as the worldwide leader in phase I clinical trials. We have our own dedicated in-patient and daycare (and some outpatient facilities) unit, Oak Ward, within the Royal Marsden.The post-holder should hold a primary medical degree (M.B., B.S or equivalent) and be currently undertaking training in Diagnostic Radiology.

Main duties of the job

This is a good opportunity for a research-focused training in functional imaging and imaging research methods and the post-holder will learn about Functional Research Ultra Sound, whole body MRI, and apply image analysis tools to evaluate imaging datasets, working within a multidisciplinary environment with the Drug Development Unit and Prostate Targeted Therapy Group. The fellowship will be supervised by Dr. Nina Tunariu.
