Overview

Race, Rights and Sovereignty Programme Coordinator (Freelance) – 80 hours in total (£36.30 per hour) to be worked between October 2025 and July 2026. Based in Glasgow. Possibility of extension depending on funding.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate the Race, Rights and Sovereignty (RRS) Event series for the GSA Students’ Association, in partnership with Glasgow School of Art.
  • Deliver six events across the academic year, creating opportunities and forums to engage with and unpack ideas related to race, rights and sovereignty, particularly in the context of creative practices.
  • Engage with and inform, celebrate and inspire the next generation of artists, designers and architects through programming and event management.
Requirements / Qualifications
  • Experience of working in arts environments and demonstrable interest in the themes underpinning the RRS programme.
  • Experience of programming and organising events and projects.
  • Active interest in creative discipline(s).
