R&D Tax Senior
Location: Northwich
Salary: £36,000 - £40,000

Our client is a growing Accountancy practice. They are recruiting for an R&D Tax Consultant to join their growing team in their Northwich office.

Reporting to the Tax Director, the successful candidate will be ACA/ACCA/CTA qualified with at least 2 years’ experience working in a similar role within an accounting practice environment.

This role would suit a candidate who is looking for a hands-on, client-facing role with a dynamic and growing accountancy practice, with opportunities to develop and progress within the firm.

Responsibilities

• The provision and expansion of the profitable preparation and delivery of R&D Tax Relief and Patent Box claims.
• Work closely with the marketing department to promote our R&D Tax offering; including writing articles, presenting at networking events, and providing social media and website updates.
• Present at service proposal presentations to clients and potential clients, demonstrating credibility of the team.
• Network with colleagues internally to promote the R&D services.
• Take the lead in growing our R&D Tax offering, with drive and accountability.
• Maintain an excellent working knowledge of UK Corporate Tax legislation and its interaction with an R&D Tax claim.

Qualifications

• ACA/ACCA/CTA qualified with at least 2 years’ experience in a comparable role in an accounting practice environment.
