Qualifications

• Educated to BTEC / HNC / apprenticeship level is preferred.
• Experience working in a chemical laboratory is essential.
• A full UK driving licence and access to a car are required.

Responsibilities

• Operating and maintaining lab coating equipment.
• Depositing thin films on glass and preparing substrates.
• Investigating new coatings applied through Chemical Vapour Deposition (CVD).
• Conducting durability tests and preparing samples.
• Measuring physical properties of coated glass.
