A major energy provider is seeking a Quantity Surveyor in Peterborough to manage financial and contractual aspects of construction projects. This role requires strong quantity surveying experience, contract management skills, and leadership abilities. £51,500 to £61,000 plus up to 6% annual bonus, overtime and company car
Peterborough, Hatton, Huntingdon, Cambridge or Chelmsford
This role involves travel across the East region, including your base site and others, around three days a week. Some overnight stays may be required.

As a Quantity Surveyor, you’ll play a pivotal role in the financial and contractual management of construction projects. You’ll ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role involves cost estimation, contract negotiation, financial oversight, and risk management, all while ensuring compliance with industry regulations and standards.
You’ll be proactive and detail-oriented, with a strong background in quantity surveying and contract management. Confident in managing complex projects and mentoring others, you’ll thrive in dynamic environments. Your leadership and ability to navigate contractual and financial challenges will establish you as a trusted advisor and collaborative team player.
The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
