Overview

Site Operative Solutions Limited have an excellent opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor / Commercial Manager in Brentwood.

Job Title: Quantity Surveyor / Commercial Manager

Duration: Permanent

Responsibilities
  • Managing all commercial aspects of assigned projects, including procurement, valuations, change control, and final accounts
  • Ensuring accurate cost control, forecasting, and reporting
  • Working closely with Contract Managers, clients, subcontractors, and internal teams
  • Identifying and implementing process improvements and commercial best practice
  • Supporting compliance with all regulatory and safety standards
Qualifications
  • Proven experience within the construction industry, ideally in Passive Fire Protection, however this is not restricted, M&E or drylining would be the closest trade to Passive Fire Protection.
  • A background in quantity surveying or commercial management, ideally within the construction field.
  • Strong knowledge of contracts would help (JCT and/or NEC preferred)
  • Excellent commercial acumen and attention to detail
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • A proactive, solutions-oriented mindset
Salary & Shift pattern
  • GBP50,000 per annum (Monday - Friday)
  • Bonus Scheme
