Overview

This established organisation specialise in quantity surveying services for major construction projects, retail & leisure, healthcare and education sectors offering pre and post contract services, as well as dispute resolution and project management.

The company are an award-winning local employer, who are committed to offering support, development and progression along with working on some super exciting projects.

Responsibilities

As a Quantity Surveyor in this growing company, you will do all aspects of quantity surveying and estimating from pre-contract through to post-contract services, including preparing final accounts and claims and attending client meetings.

  • Carry out estimating and quantity surveying services
  • Prepare detailed measures and compile BQ documents
  • Prepare feasibility studies and cost plans
  • Manage bid submissions and price tender submissions
  • Provide the lead on commercial and financial advice
  • Provide procurement and contract advice
  • Maximise value recovery, cost control and cash management on projects worked on
  • Protection of the Company's contractual position on projects worked on
  • Produce and agree accounts on projects worked on
  • Prepare budgetary advice including cash flows
  • Prepare financial reports as required
  • Lead on the resolution of disputes
  • Prepare final accounts and claim documents
  • Assist with the development of the business
Qualifications

Ideally, you\'ll be qualified to degree level with RICS professional membership.

You'll be able to build and maintain excellent working relationships internally and with clients, be able to prioritise as well as being commercial astute.

The ability to read and understand technical documents and interpret contracts is essential.
