Quantity Surveyor – Construction Fit Out

Location: Office-based in Essex with travel to sites across Central London Salary: £60,000 – £65,000 + attractive package

The Role:

As a Quantity Surveyor, you’ll take ownership of all commercial aspects of projects, providing leadership and guidance to ensure profitability and compliance. You’ll play a key role in procurement, financial reporting, and client negotiations while fostering strong relationships and driving continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer contractual requirements and manage project records
• Prepare and negotiate applications for payment, variations, and claims
• Produce accurate monthly financial reports (CVR, risk/opportunity registers, forecasts)
• Lead procurement processes, tender analysis, and supplier negotiations
• Manage supplier contracts, payments, and final accounts
• Agree final accounts with clients and maintain cash KPIs
• Support team development and contribute to strategic goals

What We’re Looking For:

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in Quantity Surveying within construction
• Strong knowledge of fit-out, façades, dry walling, or similar packages
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
