Qualifications

  • Experience in a manufacturing environment, Aerospace preferred.
  • Proven experience leading or mentoring teams within a quality function.
  • Strong knowledge of AS9100, AS13100, and regulatory frameworks.

Job Description
  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of Quality Engineers and apprentices, promoting a culture of quality excellence.
  • Ensure compliance with aerospace and regulatory standards (AS9100, AS13100, Part 21).
  • Support and manage internal and external audits, ensuring readiness and timely resolution of findings.
  • Drive root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions using tools such as 8D, A3, 5 Whys, and Ishikawa.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with production, engineering, and supply chain teams to resolve quality issues.
  • Champion continuous improvement activities, including Lean, Six Sigma, and Zero Defects initiatives.
  • Monitor and report on key quality performance metrics to drive improvement and ensure compliance.
Essential Experience/Skills/Qualifications
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment, Aerospace is preferred
  • Proven experience leading or mentoring teams within a quality function.
  • Strong knowledge of AS9100, AS13100, and regulatory frameworks such as Part 21.
