The role:
  • Lead the Quality function for a well-known UK food manufacturer, driving standards across a large-scale, high-performing site.
  • Take ownership of BRC and major retailer compliance, with the scope to shape and improve site quality systems.
  • Join a collaborative and people-focused leadership team where your influence will drive real change and continuous improvement.
  • Manage and develop a capable quality team of 10 auditors, building capability, engagement, and best practice across operations.
What We're Looking For:
  • Deep knowledge of HACCP, BRC, customer retail audits and Health & Safety standards.
  • Strong leadership skills – confident influencing at all levels, from shop floor to senior management.
  • Experience managing budgets, people, and suppliers effectively in a fast-moving, customer-focused setting.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with a continuous improvement mindset.
  • Qualified to Level 4 Food Hygiene and Level 3 HACCP.
