Job summary

A specialist design and manufacturing company in the Frimley area seeks a Quality Manager to develop and manage the Quality Management System in alignment with ISO9001. The successful candidate will lead continuous improvement initiatives and ensure compliance with quality standards. Ideal candidates will have an engineering background, excellent communication skills, and a strong knowledge of ISO9001 standards.

Qualifications

  • Strong background in engineering with relevant qualifications.
  • Proven experience with ISO9001 standard.
  • Excellent problem-solving and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage the QMS related to ISO9001.
  • Lead continuous improvement efforts.
  • Conduct internal audits and ensure policy compliance.
  • Train and mentor the quality department staff.

JOB - Quality Manager

LOCATION - Frimley

TERM- Permanent

SALARY- £50,000-£60,000per annum

My client are specialists in the designand manufacture a variety of products using a selection of different processes to a range of different industries in the Frimley area. The successful candidate will have great knowledge of the ISO9001 standard and be experienced with developing and maintain the Quality Management system.

KEY ATTRIBUTES
  • Engineering background - preferably HNC qualified or equivalent work-based experience
  • Strategic and methodical mindset
  • Excellent communication skills - verbal and written
  • Good knowledge of ISO9001 standard
  • Ensuring compliance to quality standards and procedures
  • Experience in a lean manufacturing environment or Six sigma
  • Good problem-solving skills with use of RCA tools
  • Innovative, creative and good leadership qualities
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Developing and managing the QMS in relation to ISO9001
  • Leading Continuous Improvement
  • Training and mentoring staff within the quality department
  • Streamlining quality process and proceduresLiaising with a variety of departments and external stakeholders
  • Attending staff meetings
  • Ensuring compliance to all policies and procedures
  • Conducting internal audits
