Position Summary

The role of the Quality Engineer Analyst is to provide day to day Quality Engineering support to the business. This is to ensure the highest levels of product quality to the customer and ensure compliance with procedures. The focus is on the quality of the product being supplied in a high-volume manufacturing environment and that the product control and Non-conformance processes are followed, and investigation is robust.

Immediate issue resolution, collaboration, risk mitigation, Investigation tools knowledge, technical writing and project support are required to be successful.

This is a fixed-term 12 month role which is based in Inverness.

Major Duties & Responsibilities
  • Providing Value Stream Support to our internal stakeholders
  • Dealing with issues as they arise, carrying out immediate investigation, bounding and dispositioning product appropriately
  • Risk Mitigation, Project Support, Process Improvements
  • Documentation and Metric Support
Key Experience Requirements
  • A good knowledge of Quality systems
  • Product Knowledge
  • Manufacturing and validation knowledge; an understanding of this environment and the challenges it provides
  • Working knowledge of regulatory and compliance environment e.g. ISO 13485; 21 CFR Part 820, ISO 9001 and MDSAP.
  • Knowledge of risk management tools, e.g. FMEA, CAPA
  • Working knowledge of failure investigation
  • An ability to collaborate across functions
  • Strong communication skills
