Quality Engineer

Location: Staplehurst, Kent

Salary: £30,000 - £36,000 per annum, DOE

About the Role and Client

We are a leading manufacturer of precision-engineered solutions, operating from a state-of-the-art facility equipped with advanced technology. This is a hands-on role for an experienced Quality Professional passionate about maintaining high standards and driving process improvements within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities
  • Raise and investigate internal/external non-conformances and implement corrective actions
  • Plan and conduct internal audits
  • Create and maintain key documentation
  • Support ISO 9001 management system duties
  • Liaise with stakeholders on quality concerns and continuous improvement
  • Manage quality targets and KPIs
  • Assist with calibration system and quality controls (PFMEA, 8D, FAIRs)
Candidate Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years' quality experience in manufacturing
  • Strong knowledge of engineering drawings, tolerances, and inspection techniques
  • Experience with ISO 9001 and non-conformance investigations
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Proficient in IT and ERP systems skills
Desirable
  • CMM experience
  • ISO 9001 auditing experience
  • PPAP process knowledge
