The Quality of our products and services is of critical importance to Rolls-Royce, it underpins the safety of our products and is fundamental to meeting customer and regulatory requirements.

What you will be doing
  • Understand customer, regulatory and business requirements and ensure there is an effective means of satisfying those requirements, e.g. through the Rolls-Royce Business Management System.
  • Protect the customer and the business through the management of problems, either through performing problem resolution or through the coaching of others.
  • Perform assurance activities to provide confidence to the business that customer, regulatory and business requirements will be achieved.
  • Deploy key performance indicators and effective governance to provide insight to drive improvement in Quality performance.
  • Drive supplier maturity and improvement to ensure Rolls-Royce requirements are achieved.
  • Enable the business to deliver the goal of ‘zero defects’ through the application and coaching of defect prevention tools and a culture of continuous improvement.
Position Qualifications
  • Level 2 qualification or above in English, Maths, and a Science.
  • A Level 3 to 6 apprenticeship, certificate, award, diploma, NVQ or degree in one of the following: engineering or manufacturing, business management, business / continuous improvement, Quality, or a science field.
Preferred Requirements

  • Technical aptitude in quality management, quality standards and processes.
  • Entry level position such as a quality technician, quality analyst or quality improvement officer; or an equivalent role in engineering or manufacturing, business management or business / continuous improvement.
