A Quality Engineer/Quality & Compliance Engineer / Quality Assurance Engineer is required for a manufacturer based in the Midlands

The Quality Engineer/Quality & Compliance Engineer / Quality Assurance Engineer will be responsible for maintaining, developing, and improving the Quality Management System, ensuring ongoing compliance with ISO standards and regulatory requirements. This is a hands‑on role focused on auditing, compliance, continuous improvement, and supporting the business with quality and environmental best practice.

Package:
  • Paying up to £36,000
  • Monday to Friday, 08:00–16:30
  • Ongoing training and development opportunities
  • Fully onsite in Bilston
Quality Engineer Role:
  • Adapt and maintain the Quality Management System, identifying gaps and opportunities for improvement
  • Carry out internal audits and support external audits as required
  • Drive compliance processes and maintain reporting systems
  • Act as the key point of contact for enforcement bodies and accreditation authorities
  • Provide quality and environmental advice and support to the wider business
  • Deliver training to new starters and existing employees on the Quality Management System
  • Gather and analyse quality data to support continuous improvement initiatives
  • Must be able to commute to Bilston
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in a Quality Engineer or similar quality-focused role within the same environment
  • Strong working knowledge of ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 standards (ISO 14001 is desirable)
  • Experience conducting internal audits
  • Able to commute to Bilston and work in a site-based role
