Job summary

A leading Fresh Produce supplier in the UK is seeking a Quality Controller to enhance their product quality team. The successful candidate will ensure all incoming products are checked according to the highest quality standards, collaborate with various departments, and manage the QC team to maintain compliance with customer expectations. Ideal candidates will have prior Quality Control experience, especially with fresh produce like grapes, and be able to work both independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Experience in Quality Control or Quality Assurance.
• Familiarity with Fresh Produce, preferably Grapes.
• Able to work within a team and independently.

Responsibilities

• Check all products on Intake to meet quality standards.
• Communicate product usage and rotation between departments.
• Manage the team to ensure standards are met and documented.

A market leader in their sector, our Client is an established and highly successful Fresh Produce supplier, working with an exciting portfolio of products that are destined for the UK retailers. We are currently seeking a Quality Controller to strengthen their product quality team at an exciting time of expansion.

Reporting to the QA Manager, the successful Quality Controller will work alongside a QC team to ensure all product is checked on Intake and approved to the highest quality standards, meeting customer expectations. This is a key role communicating between departments on product usage and rotation, managing the team to ensure all standards are met & logged appropriately adhering to customer expectations / requirements and ensure a safe working environment for all team members.

Requirements

• Previous experience in Quality Control / Quality Assurance
• Fresh Produce knowledge, with exposure to Fruit ideally Grapes
• Team player, confident to make decisions and work alone when required
• Ability to communicate at all levels
