Quality Controller (Aerospace/Defence)

Stockport, Manchester

£30,000 - £40,000 + Training + Progression + Overtime + Pension + Early Finish Friday

Are you a Quality Controller or similar with a background in the mechanical/manufacturing industry, with the ability to interpret and understand technical/schematic drawings, looking to join a highly respected, rapidly expanding company, rich with over 30 years of history, taking both the Aerospace and Defence sector by storm at the absolute forefront of electronic innovation?

In this role

In this role, the successful Quality Controller or similar will be responsible for carrying out quality checks/QC inspections on a wide range of electro-mechanical products. In addition, you will also be responsible for ensuring all product/technical documentation complies with manufacturing process and procedure requirements. On top of this, you will be responsible for coaching production team members to ensure all products meet both quality and company standards. Finally, you will be responsible for supporting the QA team in relation to any quality deviations.

The ideal Quality Controller or similar

The ideal Quality Controller or similar will have previous working experience in a QC role or a related position. In addition, you will also have a background within the mechanical/manufacturing industry. On top of this, you will have the ability to read and interpret both schematic and engineering drawings. Ideally, you will have experience inspecting to IPC 610/620 standards. Finally, you will have strong organisational, analytical, and communicational skills, with the confidence to work both as part of a team, and autonomously.
