Overview

The role of the Quality Manager is to provide and maintain quality control system to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Primary Duties
  • Develop, implement, and maintain quality management systems (QMS) to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Responsible for overseeing quality control processes, including the inspection of incoming and outgoing spare parts, and ensuring service repair work from internal teams and external vendors meets established standards and specifications.
  • Oversee the quality related document lifecycle: creation, review, approval and archive. Managed Quality Management material to ensure seamless accessibility across MRO and SCM functions.
  • Manage and maintain controlled quality documentation, including work instructions, quality manuals, inspection reports, non-conformance reports (NCR), and corrective and preventive action (CAPA) records, to ensure consistency and compliance with standards.
  • Accountable for preparing and authorizing Certificates of conformance (CoC) for all services done in MRO such as verification, repairs and spare parts deliverables.
  • Lead warranty assessments, work closely with customers to address quality concerns and resolve issues, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction including root cause analysis.
  • Develop and manage a calibration schedule for all measuring, monitoring, and hoisting equipment, ensuring compliance with relevant standards.
  • Support internal audits, quality metrics tracking, and continuous improvement initiatives aligned with ISO standards.
  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in processes and systems, utilizing methodologies such as Six Sigma or Lean.
  • Analyze data to identify trends and potential quality issues, developing strategies to mitigate risks.
  • Collaborate with other departments to integrate quality standards into all processes.
  • Undertake any ad hoc assignments given by senior management.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, industrial management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in quality management, preferably in a similar industry.
  • Strong knowledge of quality assurance methodologies, tools, and techniques.
  • Certification in quality management (e.g., ISO 9001, Six Sigma, ASQ CQE) is a plus.
  • Occasional overseas travelling is required
