A leading group in quality management in Northfleet Mill, Kent is seeking a Professional Quality Assistant. This role involves collecting and testing samples to ensure compliance with product specifications, validating lab equipment, and providing ongoing quality-related support. Candidates should have strong attention to detail, effective communication skills, and a willingness to learn. This position offers a pay rate of £12.21 per hour and runs for a duration of six months, starting from August 25, 2025.

Tax Work Location: Northfleet Mill, Kent

Job Title: Professional - Quality Assistant

Pay Rate: 12.21 per hour

Job Description:

To collect and test for statistical evaluation, base sheet and finished product samples, for compliance to the ANDREX finished product specification.

To validate correlation of Lab test equipment & satellite lab test equipment.

To provide the Mill quality analyst with up to the minute information relating to quality testing issues

To provide ad hoc testing to support shift, day work, and product development teams.

Assist with Continual Improvement of the Quality Management System Administration of Quality Management system relating to testing.

Administration of test equipment conformance, and certificates of schedules of calibration

To help develop a Quality culture within mill teams by providing a standard of excellence in quality related issues.

Qualifications & Experiences

- Computer literate & numerate.

- Capable administrator

- Able to communicate effectively

- Flexible and able to manage varying workloads

- Attention to detail

- Willingness to learn new thing

- Experience of testing in Laboratory conditions desirable.
