Overview

Amegreen Children's Services specialises in therapeutic residential children's care. We currently have a community of beautiful homes set in rural West Berkshire where we offer a warm welcome to vulnerable children aged 5 years old to 18 years old. We're looking for a skilled Quality Assurance Officer to lead audits, support inspections, and ensure our services meet the highest standards across residential homes, schools, and alternate provisions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead audits, inspections, and quality checks across all Amegreen services
  • Support pre-registration processes, staff inductions, and recruitment
  • Monitor compliance with regulations and support improvement plans
  • Provide guidance on ClearCare systems and health & safety standards
  • Conduct out-of-hours visits and staff surveys
  • Collaborate with managers, training teams, and external agencies
  • Report findings and recommendations to senior leadership
Essential Requirements
  • Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health & Social Care (or equivalent)
  • Substantial experience in children's residential care
  • Strong knowledge of child development and trauma impact
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and teamwork skills
  • Understanding of Children\'s Homes Regulations and Quality Standards
  • Full UK driving licence and access to own vehicle
Desirable
  • Management experience in residential care
  • Other relevant specialist qualifications
