Job summary

A UK education staffing agency is seeking a dedicated Qualified Teacher to deliver high-quality education in line with the UK National Curriculum. The ideal candidate will plan and deliver engaging lessons, assess and monitor student progress, and foster an inclusive learning environment supporting academic and personal development. Applicants must have Qualified Teacher Status recognised in the UK, a relevant teaching degree, and strong communication skills. Qualifications

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) recognised in the UK.
  • Relevant teaching degree (BEd, PGCE, or subject-specific degree).
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of assessment methods and curriculum planning.
  • Enhanced DBS check and right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons according to the UK National Curriculum.
  • Assess, monitor, and record pupil progress, providing feedback and reports.
  • Maintain positive classroom behaviour and a safe learning environment.
  • Support pupils’ academic, social, and emotional development, including SEN students.
  • Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and external agencies.
  • Uphold safeguarding policies and professional standards.
  • Participate in meetings, training, and continuous professional development (CPD).
