About the Role

Are you a dedicated Qualified Teacher with a passion for special education? This is a rewarding opportunity to join an Ofsted-rated "Outstanding" school that provides exceptional education for children with autism aged 4-19.

We are looking for a collaborative and innovative teacher to join our supportive team. You will be instrumental in developing and delivering a dynamic curriculum, using your expertise in behaviour analysis and positive reinforcement to help every pupil reach their full potential. This role is ideal for a teacher who is passionate about continuous professional growth, with access to fully funded training and development, including behaviour analysis qualifications and a Masters-level programme.

Key Skills and Experience
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Qualified Teaching & Learning Status (QTLS).
    • Note: For Early Career Teachers (ECTs), a minimum of 1 year of a supported induction process in a mainstream setting is required.
  • Experience working with pupils with autism using behaviour analysis and positive reinforcement.
  • Proficiency in data collection and analysis to develop tailored support plans.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to plan and deliver engaging lessons.
  • A proven understanding of Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).
  • Experience within the UK school system and familiarity with the National Curriculum.
  • A strong commitment to safeguarding and inclusive education.
  • Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite.

Reporting and Hours
  • Reports to: Lead Teacher and Co-Headteacher
  • Working Hours:
    • Monday, Wednesday, Thursday: 8:45am - 4:45pm
    • Tuesday: 8:45am - 5:30pm
    • Friday: 8:45am - 4:30pm
