What you will do:

  • Act as a key player in the Safeguarding Adult Team by managing new customers and those not currently allocated to other teams.
  • Conduct screening of safeguarding referrals as part of duty work for approximately two days per week.
  • Carry out your own Section 42 enquiries, adhering to the Care Act 2014.
  • Follow Bolton’s safeguarding policy and procedures closely.
  • Utilise your knowledge of the Mental Capacity Act to carry out MCA assessments and make Best Interests decisions.
  • Collaborate with a small, dedicated, and supportive team, enhancing the overall safeguarding efforts in the community.
