Job summary

A recruitment agency is seeking a Quality Health and Safety Manager for a permanent position in Dudley, UK. The successful candidate will develop a strong health and safety culture and ensure compliance with quality systems. Responsibilities include promoting safety practices, investigating incidents, and maintaining the Quality Management System. Ideal candidates have over 5 years' experience in H&S and quality management, preferably with knowledge of ISO standards.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in health & safety, quality, and QMS.
  • Experience working in accordance with ISO standards is desirable.
  • Excellent knowledge of quality systems.

  • Report accidents and incidents, and provide support in carrying out investigations.

Our client are looking for a Quality Health and Safety Manager to join the team on a permanent basis. The key here is a solid understanding of Quality and manufacturing to succeed. Although part of a larger organisation, this particular site is looking for someone to implement a firm H&S culture, helping the business understand exactly how to be compliant.

Responsibilities
  • Promote a culture of health & safety and quality throughout the organisation.
  • Report accidents and incidents, and provide support in carrying out thorough investigations.
  • Ensure that our organisation's Quality Management System is up to date and followed by all departments.
  • Act as a key contact for customer complaints and assist operations staff in their investigations.
  • Contribute to FMEAs, risk management plans, and risk management reports.
Required Qualifications
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in health & safety, quality, and QMS.
  • Experience working in accordance with ISO (ISO & ISO experience desirable).
  • Excellent knowledge of quality systems.
