Thrive Personnel Ltd are seeking a dedicated and experienced Quality Assurance Manager to join our clients team based in Leeds. The Quality Assurance Manager will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining a comprehensive Quality Management System (QMS) to ensure our products meet or exceed customer expectations and comply with industry standards.
Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain the company's Quality Management System (QMS) in line with ISO 9001 standards and industry best practices.
- Oversee quality control processes throughout the manufacturing cycle, from raw materials to finished products.
- Conduct regular audits of internal processes and supplier assessments to identify areas for improvement.
- Lead root cause analysis and corrective action initiatives to address quality issues and prevent recurrence.
- Train and mentor production teams in quality assurance protocols and best practices.
- Monitor and analyze quality performance metrics, identifying trends and implementing strategies to improve product and process quality.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory requirements and customer specifications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, engineering, and sales, to drive quality improvements and resolve quality-related issues.
Requirements
- Proven experience in quality management within a manufacturing environment, preferably in the furniture industry.
- In-depth knowledge of Quality Management Systems (QMS) and ISO 9001 standards.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to lead root cause analysis and implement effective corrective actions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to train and mentor teams.
- Proficiency in using quality control tools and techniques, such as statistical process control (SPC) and failure mode and effects analysis (FMEA).
