Job description

Thrive Personnel Ltd are seeking a dedicated and experienced Quality Assurance Manager to join our clients team based in Leeds. The Quality Assurance Manager will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining a comprehensive Quality Management System (QMS) to ensure our products meet or exceed customer expectations and comply with industry standards.

Responsibilities
  • Develop, implement, and maintain the company's Quality Management System (QMS) in line with ISO 9001 standards and industry best practices.
  • Oversee quality control processes throughout the manufacturing cycle, from raw materials to finished products.
  • Conduct regular audits of internal processes and supplier assessments to identify areas for improvement.
  • Lead root cause analysis and corrective action initiatives to address quality issues and prevent recurrence.
  • Train and mentor production teams in quality assurance protocols and best practices.
  • Monitor and analyze quality performance metrics, identifying trends and implementing strategies to improve product and process quality.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory requirements and customer specifications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, engineering, and sales, to drive quality improvements and resolve quality-related issues.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in quality management within a manufacturing environment, preferably in the furniture industry.
