Job summary

A technology consultancy firm in Belfast is seeking a Python Developer to build and enhance bespoke software solutions for clients. The role requires a minimum of 2 years of experience in data or software engineering, effective communication skills, and a proactive approach. Responsibilities

• Build and enhance bespoke Python solutions for our clients
• Deliver high quality, best practice software solutions
• Use a range of architectures, tools and frameworks
• Have the opportunity to learn and gain certification in new technologies
• Recommend, implement and knowledge share new ideas and innovations
• Work as part of a dynamic team
• Suggest, create and deliver content towards our L&D ecosystem
• Produce clean and efficient solutions based on specifications
• Liaise directly with clients

Qualifications

• Experience and skills required: Minimum 2+ years Python experience in Data or Software Engineering setting
• Knowledge across software and data engineering, and software delivery (CI/CD)
• Development and delivery experience of data-driven applications and solutions
• Capable of task estimation, proactive and autonomous working
• Solid knowledge of SDLC, agile and appropriate tooling
• Excellent communication skills across peers, leadership and clients; both business and technical
• Please note, this role requires 3 days per week on-site in Belfast City Centre.
