Job description

Our client is currently looking to recruit a Purchasing Administrator for a family run company. A vacancy has arisen in our friendly, busy office at our headquarters in Corby.

Working closely with the Production and Licensing Manager and wider team, you will provide administrative and operational support, liaising with external suppliers.

Hours are Monday to Friday 9am till 5pm.

Main Duties
  • Raise Purchase orders.
  • Request quotes for International Shipping.
  • Maintain and update the approved supplier list.
  • Respond to internal order queries and co‑ordinate with suppliers for answers.
  • Data input.
  • Tracking and booking of Purchase Orders.
  • Use of SAP B1 systems and Excel.
Essential Skills
  • Excellent Excel skills for analysing and presenting data.
  • Confidence in communicating with external stakeholders by phone and email.
  • The ability to interpret and manage operational data and reporting.
  • A proactive and solution‑focused mindset with strong organisational skills.
