Overview

Looking for freelance interpreting opportunities in Rochdale and the surrounding area. We are a leading Interpreting and Translation Company in the UK providing face-to-face and remote interpreting services for hospitals, councils, insurance companies and other public and private sector organisations. We urgently require professional, qualified freelance interpreters in multiple languages.

Scope of Work

Provide face-to-face or remote interpreting services for Local Authorities, council departments, social services, housing benefit and other public and private sector organisations, including the NHS.

Responsibilities

• Deliver interpreting services accurately and professionally in accordance with client requirements.
• Work on a flexible, freelance basis and manage own schedule and assignments.
• Adhere to relevant DBS and safeguarding requirements as applicable.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Professional, qualified and experienced interpreters in the following languages: Arabic, Bengali, Chinese, Kurdish, Mandarin, Mirpuri, Pahari, Pashto, Polish, Portuguese, Punjabi, Romanian, Russian, Slovak, Swahili & Urdu.
• An enhanced DBS certificate is required.
• Self-employed status with responsibility for National Insurance contributions and tax.
