Seeking an experienced, senior level local authority finance specialist with a passion for providing insights, technical guidance and training.

Overview:

Working for a leading finance institute, you will provide financial insights to members (local authorities), answer technical queries, and deliver tailored communications and training.

A typical week:
  • Engagement with members
  • Respond to detailed technical enquiries
  • Research, collate & deliver insights, training & events
  • Liaise with stakeholders on legislation changes
You'll need the following:
  • 3 years senior local authority finance experience
  • Knowledge of the Local Authority Accounting Code of Practice
  • Experience delivering training/insights
  • CIPFA or equivalent qualified (desirable)
