Our client is an educational organisation based in Hemel.
To lead and manage governance services across our multi-site client, ensuring compliance, effectiveness, and continuous improvement. The role encompasses strategic leadership of governance frameworks, advisory support to the Board, Executive Team and Local Advisory Bodies, and oversight of statutory compliance. Clerking duties will remain a key part of the role, with the aid of technology.
Our client is looking for a candidate with the ability to design and implement governance strategies and frameworks. An exceptional administrator, you will have excellent communication, influencing, and stakeholder engagement skills, with a commitment to professional development and continuous improvement.
Ideally, although not essentially, candidates will have a professional governance qualification (e.g., NGA Level 4, CGI accreditation), experience in a similar role and/or a strong understanding of company and charity law, and regulatory frameworks.
The successful candidate will be able to independently travel to all sites across Hemel Hempstead and Watford.
This great part time role is being offered at 30 hours per week term time. You will be based from a site in Hemel and attendance at all governance meetings is essential, including a mix of on-site and remote sessions, some of which may take place early mornings or evenings. A flexible approach and the ability to travel independently across all Trust sites are required.
A salary band of £32,790 to £42,500 FTE* (£23,557 - £30,533 actual per annum) is available, depending on skills and experience along with a substantial benefits package and term time only working.
