Location: Birmingham (North)
Contract: Full-time, Temporary to Permanent
Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:30am–3:30pm
Salary: £1,200–£1,500 per month

Teaching Personnel are working in partnership with an Outstanding-rated Special Educational Needs school in Birmingham (North), supporting pupils aged 7–18 with a range of complex needs, including Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH), Autism, and other SEN.

You’ll work alongside experienced educators, psychologists, and occupational therapists, gaining exposure that is ideal for those considering careers in educational psychology, clinical psychology, mental health, or teaching.

Your Role Will Include:

• Supporting teachers in delivering engaging and structured lessons
• Providing 1:1 support to pupils who need additional guidance
• Leading small group interventions
• Supporting emotional regulation and positive behaviour
• Monitoring progress and feeding back to teaching staff

We’re Looking For Someone Who:

• Holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology (or a related field)
• Has an interest in SEN, SEMH, or behaviour support (experience desirable, not essential)
• Is passionate about supporting young people and inclusive education
• Is patient, resilient, and keen to learn
• Holds a clear and current DBS, or is willing to apply for one
