Overview

Shire Healthcare are recruiting for a Practitioner Psychologist to work within a specialist day school in Wakefield, West Yorkshire.

Work a 4-day working week for full time pay!!

Role snapshot

The candidate appointed will work for a reputable nationwide employer who encourages working life balance by offering full paid contracts whilst working 4 days per week.

The post holder will be joining an education team within a specialist day school, delivering psychological assessments and interventions to pupils ages 5–19, who present with developmental trauma, SEMH needs and/or neurodivergent. This team work with a person-centred approach.

Contract and hours

Contract type – permanent and term time (52 week working contracts available)

Hours – both part time and full time will be considered

Salary

Salary – up to £65,000 FTE

Experience required / Qualifications

Clinical, Counselling, Educational and Forensic Psychologists applying will have HCPC registration and experience working with CYP with developmental trauma, SEMH needs and/or neurodivergence.
