Wolverhampton Talking Therapies offers intervention for Depression and all anxiety disorders. As a service we excel with positive client feedback and exceptionally high job satisfaction from our team.
We are looking for qualified Psychological Wellbeing Practitioners (PWP) with the passion and drive to join our clinical team of PWPs, counsellors and CBT Therapists.
Whilst accreditation is desirable, if you are not yet accredited we are able to support you in applying once successfully appointed.
It is essential that successful applicants possess a qualification from Talking Therapies Approved Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner Training Course. (Without this, your application will not be considered).
The role of a PWP is very dynamic, and though at its core is the treatment of Depression and anxiety, no two days are the same.
As a PWP you will be expected to demonstrate a high degree of competence and have experience working in mental health services. You will deliver Step 2 intervention to clients presenting with Depression and/or generalised anxiety disorder, using modalities of telephone, video, face-to-face and computerised.
Candidates are also expected to engage themselves in clinical and case management supervision, and be willing to undertake continuous professional development. A commitment to high quality client care, good organisational skills and excellent communication abilities are essential to this role.
The PWP role will be blended, and include both home (remote) working and office based work.
