A leading company in private wealth management seeks a Protection Specialist to join their Investments & Pensions team. The ideal candidate will have a Level 4 Financial Advisor qualification and significant experience in the life insurance market. This role involves advising clients on financial protection and assisting with inheritance tax strategies, with opportunities to shape the role's development.
Our Investments & Pensions team, part of our Private Wealth team, has a new opportunity for a Protection Specialist to join them.
Ideally, this will be a full-time role; however, the team will consider applications from those seeking part-time hours.
Location-wise, the team is based in Newcastle, but this role could also be based in our Leeds office.
The Team
Our Private Wealth team comprises lawyers, accountants, financial advisors, and tax specialists. They are highly regarded and have a solid reputation for providing creative financial planning, legal, tax solutions, and investment advice to private clients.
The Role
This role requires some understanding of holistic financial planning, with a focus on advising on financial protection policies. You will work directly with clients, demonstrating strong knowledge of product types and provider offerings. Lead generation is not expected, but it can be part of the role if interested. You will also assist experienced Financial Advisors with Inheritance Tax planning strategies for high net worth clients.
As this is a new role, there will be opportunities to help develop the responsibilities, systems, and procedures associated with it.
