Philanthropy plays a significant role in the life of the Academy and supports our mission to develop and educate the musicians of tomorrow. The Royal Academy of Music’s Future campaign was launched in 2022 with a target of £60m, making it the most ambitious campaign for a conservatoire outside the US. Having exceeded that target, we extended the Campaign to £100 million.

We are seeking an effective and creative Proposals and Impact Writer (Philanthropy) to join the Academy’s dynamic and successful Advancement team. You will write persuasive content for fundraising and impact reporting materials, with particular focus on bespoke proposals and impact reports for donors and funders who make gifts over £10k. You will also develop the Philanthropy team’s proposals library : a live resource of templates and content for use by the whole department.
