Contract: Locum (urgent requirement)

PQE: Ideally 4+ PQE (flexible for strong candidates)

Working Pattern: Hybrid – 3 days office / 2 days remote (greater flexibility for senior locums)

Overview

A well-established firm is urgently seeking an experienced Locum Residential & Commercial Property Solicitor following the unexpected departure of a team member. The firm has reviewed several CVs to date but is yet to identify a suitably experienced candidate and is keen to move quickly.

The Role

The locum will manage a mixed caseload of approximately 70–80 files, with a 60/40 split between residential and commercial property matters. This is a senior-level assignment requiring someone confident running files independently and supporting the wider property team.

  • Providing day‑to‑day support and guidance to junior team members
  • Ensuring continuity of service during a critical period for the team
  • Maintaining high standards of client care and file management
