Job Title: Property Litigation Solicitor
Salary Range: £65,000 to £75,000
Location: Birmingham (Hybrid Working)
Contract: Full-Time, Permanent
Our client is a prestigious national law firm, recognised in the top tiers of the Legal 500 for its exceptional expertise in property litigation. With a reputation for handling high-value and complex disputes across the UK, the firm combines a strong commercial focus with first-class client service. Its national presence and collaborative culture make it a leading destination for ambitious property litigation professionals.
As a Property Litigation Solicitor, you will manage a varied and challenging caseload covering commercial property disputes and contentious residential property management matters. You will play a key role in delivering pragmatic, commercially focused legal advice, representing clients in a range of high-profile and complex disputes.
You will take ownership of property litigation matters from initial instruction through to resolution, managing your own caseload. This includes drafting claims, defences, court applications, witness statements, and other litigation documentation, as well as conducting in-depth legal research and analysis of relevant case law and legislation. You will prepare bundles for hearings, trials, and mediations, maintain accurate and organised files, and ensure all procedural deadlines are met.
The role requires regular interaction with clients, counsel, managing agents, experts, and external bodies, including the courts. You will attend client meetings, provide updates on case progress, and contribute to case strategy and trial preparation. Additionally, you will coordinate with external parties as needed and manage billing and time recording in accordance with firm procedures.
The successful applicant will join a leading national firm offering a comprehensive and competitive benefits package. This includes 25 days' annual leave plus bank holidays, increasing holiday entitlement with length of service and promotion, and access to a holiday purchase scheme. Additional benefits include an enhanced pension scheme, bonus opportunities, company share scheme, electric vehicle scheme, private healthcare, life assurance, critical illness cover, and an employee assistance programme. Employees also benefit from retail discounts, a clear career progression pathway, and flexible, hybrid working arrangements.
