Job description

This position will be fully office-based from our Somerton depot. The Project Team Leader fulfills a supervisory role within the Projects Department, responsible for overseeing a team of Project Coordinators and managing multiple client accounts. The Team Leader acts as the key escalation point for Project Coordinators handling significant queries and issues. Responsibilities include allocating projects, managing workloads, and ensuring standards and timescales are met. The Team Leader also supports the Depot Manager by managing spreadsheets and coordinating client meetings.

Responsibilities of a Project Team Leader:
  1. Account management of multiple clients and projects
  2. Managing a team of Project Coordinators, including training, goal setting, and reviews
  3. Ensuring PO coverage, overseeing invoice queries, and liaising with clients
  4. Allocating new workstreams and projects to coordinators
  5. Resolving complex client issues and providing escalation points
  6. Quoting and booking Traffic Management projects
  7. Coordinating with Operations, CAD team, and other depots to ensure smooth operations
  8. Performing additional duties as assigned by the Planning Manager or Service Centre Directors
  9. Collating KPI reports
  10. Leading client requests for Traffic Management
  11. Supervising team activities and ensuring timely communication
  12. Maintaining accurate customer billing records

  • Ability to build relationships within the team and organization
