About the Job

Welcome to University of Northampton’s Change and Transformation Office. We are responsible for a comprehensive transformation portfolio aimed at modernising and enhancing the operational efficiency, academic offering and strategic capabilities at the University of Northampton. This post, reporting directly to the Head of Change and Transformation, will be responsible for coordinating, supporting and overseeing the status of the University’s significant transformation programmes and projects, ensuring that project documentation and records are gathered, managed and disseminated accordingly, stored correctly, and will provide support to the Transformation Office’s change management team. As a new team, we are establishing our operating model and supporting systems and this post will be key to our success during this period.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate, support and oversee the status of the University’s transformation programmes and projects.
  • Ensure project documentation and records are gathered, managed, stored correctly and disseminated accordingly.
  • Provide support to the Transformation Office’s change management team.
  • Contribute to establishing the operating model and supporting systems for a new team.
About You

Ideally holding relevant project management qualifications, you will have experience of meticulously and methodically supporting teams in a project environment, including creating and running governance systems and rhythm, and document management, and monitoring and reporting projects’ progress and risks/issues/benefits. You will prefer working in a digital environment and advocating it to stakeholders. Experience of MS Teams and PM systems such as monday.com, Jira or Wrike would be welcomed.

Qualifications

Essential:

  • 5 GCSEs (or equivalent) including Mathematics and English Language at Grade C/4 or above

Desirable:

  • Higher Education Qualification or equivalent experience
  • Hold a relevant foundation level project management professional qualification such as Prince2 Foundation, AgilePM Foundation or APMP Foundation
