Salary: £40,000 - £55,000 (up to £60,000 for exceptional candidates)

Location: Remote / Home-based with autonomous working

About the Role

We're seeking an experienced Project Manager or Senior Project Manager to join our growing team, leading the delivery of high-profile leisure, sport centre and stadium developments. This is an excellent opportunity for a self-motivated professional who thrives working autonomously in a remote environment.

Project manager will take ownership of projects from pre-construction through to practical completion, managing timelines, budgets, and stakeholder relationships with confidence and precision. This role suits a Project Manager with a proven track record in the leisure and sports sector, large commercial schemes, regeneration projects, central and local government programmes, cultural and heritage developments who can work independently, make sound decisions, and communicate effectively across distributed teams.

Project Manager Duties
  • Manage end-to-end project delivery for leisure, sport centre and stadium schemes
  • Lead planning, budgeting, scheduling and resource allocation with minimal supervision
  • Coordinate with architects, consultants, contractors and clients to ensure project milestones are met
  • Monitor project performance, identify risks and implement solutions proactively
  • Maintain detailed project documentation and reporting
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders
  • Work autonomously to drive projects forward in a remote working environment
What We're Looking For
  • Proven experience managing leisure, sport centre, stadium or similar hospitality/recreation development projects
  • Track record of delivering projects on time and within budget
  • Strong organisational and time management skills with ability to work independently
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
  • Proficiency with project management software and Microsoft Office
  • Self-motivated with the ability to manage your own workload and priorities
  • Problem-solving mindset with sound commercial judgment
  • Degree educated with 2:1 or above in a construction-related discipline (Project Management, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related field)
  • Master's degree preferred where held
